Hi, I’m Carolyn D. Jenkins, the founder and CEO of CjQenterprises, LLC, located in Northern Virginia. CjQenterprises, LLC, is the creative umbrella for our three divisions which includes publishing, promoting good foot care and The JDF.
I founded my first business in 1990 and my professional career includes being an educator, bookstore owner, sales representative, writer, coach, supervisor and project manager. I am the creator, author and illustrator of the award winning children’s books series, The Family Adventures of Princess Ladybug and Princess Ladybird, which takes a humorous look at siblings growing up in different households. The title of my third book is considerably shorter : ). It stems from my passion to encourage good foot care and appreciation for our primary mode or transportation. I am the proud author of the Gold medal award winning book, My Feet: An Ode. It is a multi-generational picture book that follows a young girl from infancy into her senior years. Her life story is illustrated through the journeys and escapades her feet take her on. My Feet: An Ode ‘comes to life’ creatively through the beautiful drawings of multi-talented Meghan Kube. Meghan’s incredible talent was rewarded in December 2015 when My Feet: An Ode became an Authorsdb.com 2015 Gold Award Book Cover winner.
My passion for good foot care helped me evolve into a Foot & Shoe Consultant. In the fall of 2015 I released two ebooks for women who want to purchase footwear that won’t hurt their feet. How To Avoid Killer Boots and buy boots that feel as good as they look! and Irresistible; Rockin’ Hot Party Shoes your feet will love!, help women purchase the right type of footwear for their particular feet. In addition to all of the fabulous pictures of boots and shoes, each book provides good foot care tips for people with common foot problems that include bunions, hammertoes, diabetes and the like. As my passion for good foot care grew, I realized writing and speaking about it was not enough to decrease the number of people who suffer with foot pain. My passion became my life’s mission and in March 2016, I founded The Jenkins Donelson Foundation, JDF. The JDF promotes good foot health in the USA and around the globe. As a promoter I have a simple criteria when selecting projects; the project must build others up or encourage people. I am the founder and CjQenterprises is the official sponsor of National I LOVE My Feet Day! August 17, which celebrates the incredible versatility of our feet and encourages good foot care.
My other creative interests include event planning, singing, songwriting, jingle writer, musician, publisher and voiceover artist. I’m a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, sister and daughter.
